Dual-use technologies, developed for civilian purposes but with potential military applications, are subject to specific export control rules aimed at preventing risks to national and international security. For science and technology institutions, understanding this framework is essential for research activities, knowledge transfer, and participation in international cooperation projects.
In this context, IAPMEI and the Enterprise Europe Network Portugal are organising a cycle of webinars on export control, designed to support companies, universities, and research centres in understanding the applicable rules. This initiative is part of the activities of the Aerospace and Defence sector within the Enterprise Europe Network Portugal.

This webinar will provide key guidelines on research and transfer of dual-use technologies, highlighting the regulatory framework and associated risks.
It is aimed at universities, polytechnic institutes and research centres, as well as project managers, innovation offices, and technology transfer officers engaged in international cooperation projects.
